First time trying out Boardroom and went with Denise! Just moved here and have gotten bad cuts in the past but she fixed me up and did an absolutely amazing job! Honestly probably my best cut I’ve ever gotten! Book with her!!

Don’t sleep on on this gem! Catch myself wanting to pop in just to hang out with the lovely ladies running the show over there, Nevermind an appointment. But when you are scheduled for that chair, they make it feel like a throne! I hesitate to mention my stylists name because I don’t want her to get too busy! But I’ll do it! Go see Dominique!

I’ve now had 3 benchmark cuts with Dominique, and I will keep coming back. My haircut looks great, and I always leave feeling good and relaxed. The extras you get with the benchmark are well worth the money. Dominique is fantastic, funny, kind, and accommodating. She’s the main reason I will keep coming back. But someone needs to do something about the playlist! It’s always music from the 70s, bad country and disco music and for every good song played, there’s 5 weird/bad ones. It doesn’t fit the elevated, sophisticated vibe that I want when paying so much for the cut and other services.

Women have thousands of places they can go to be pampered, whether it’s a simple manicure or full-on spa treatment. For men, our options are severely limited. Thankfully, the Boardroom came to town. Established in an affluent suburb of Dallas in 2004 and catering to those who can afford a pricey haircut worth every penny, it’s been a perfect addition to the North Brentwood area! Even their basic haircut includes a shampoo and one free water, soda, or beer. The Benchmark cut is my preference, adding a face and scalp massage, a second free drink, a hot towel, and more! Perhaps the best part was the paraffin wax hand dip that makes hands feel incredibly smooth, especially during the winter when they’re dry and cracked. The Boardroom even has a pool table, and I’m pretty sure I could have stayed to play a round if I had asked. Although maybe that’s just a prop? But aside from all the perks and the upscale atmosphere, here’s the bottom line. Do they have employees who can cut a great head of hair, like noticeably better than other salons? Because if they don’t, then even all those bonuses wouldn’t be worth the price. And the answer is an emphatic yes! It’s the best haircut I’ve had in decades! And I will definitely return!
